Not using Video Ads in your Facebook campaigns? Then you’re losing out big time…
Some of you may have wanted to run video ads for your business, but you’re SHY….
Maybe its because you don’t know what to say, or HOW to say it.
Here’s my gift for you- My entire template of what to say, and how to say the stuff you want to say on a video ad for Facebook.
In the first opening 15 seconds…
– You’ve got to get attention visually.
– Text can work great here, just don’t take up more than 20% of the screen with text. (Text gives them a quick read of what they will be watching)
– Introduce yourself and establish credibility.-
– Who are you and what have you done?
– Why should people listen to you?
At the 15 to 60 second mark…
– STATE the problem your audience is facing
– SEED some hints that your video will give them some solutions
– Briefly mention the 3 to 5 problems that your target market is experiencing from (This is IMPORTANT< as it helps to show the viewer that you understand their problems.
Now- At the 60 to 90 seconds mark..
– state what you are offering to alleviate the pain you mentioned earlier
– use the “feature”, then “benefit” sequence, and repeat a few times
90 seconds ++ mark
– REVEAL the solution, and then tell them exactly what to do next. Click a button? Go to a website? Call you?
(Now typically, you MAY want to insert a video testimonial at the end, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Why? Because at this point you want them to take action and not sit around watching another impediment-ous testimonial.
What I would do though, is to run the video ad with the “video views” objective, and then retarget those who watch the video to the end, and THEN run a 2nd testimonial ad with a call to action)
